Our first visit to Chatsworth, we visited the house this morning and the garden this afternoon, in the sunshine.
We found the house and some of the contents rather overwhelming in their opulence and level of decoration but there were some beautiful individual items too.
In the garden there are many interesting corners as well as impressive vistas.
I shall have to visit Chatsworth again. There have obviously been some additions to the garden since we last visited.
