When I went to Lake Anne in Reston yesterday, I saw this newly erected Virginia Historical Marker.
Normally these are to be seen by historic homes or by the side of the road at the site of Civil War battles or other important events.
This one was put up last year, the 50th anniversary of the building of Reston, commemorating the building of Lake Anne as the start of the building of the new town of Reston.
