Fall Festival

This afternoon we drove to Temple Hall Farm Park beyond Leesburg where they hold an annual Fall Festival - the highlight of which is a very large Maize Maze.

There are two mazes in fact, covering an area of 20 acres.  This larger one is for daytime and a smaller one alongside is open in the evening.

We climbed on a platform to look out over the field, but it didn’t help much!

The maize is very tall and at this stage very dry.

We set off into the corn jungle under the surprisingly warm (25C) October sunshine.

Thanks to David we found our way through both parts of the maze. A good afternoon’s walk and not too much back-tracking.
