More visitors for Theo!

Another busy day for Baby Theo!  More lovely family visitors - (Great) Aunty Karen and Uncle Wayne and Lauren's cousins, Christopher, Steven and Lara.

An opportunity for lots more family photos and for Theo to have a few cuddles too..

Theo is two weeks old tomorrow and has met many, but not quite all, of his close family now.

Getting into Books!

When the Health Visitor came yesterday she left lots of information for Lauren .. and Theo's first book bag!

There were two board books inside.

Theo is already enjoying story time - here James is reading 'Norman - the slug with the funny shell'.

Awesome Grandparents!

Theo's grandparents Kim and Charmian visited today.  Grandad Kim sporting a new t-shirt especially for the occasion!

Theo also had a new outfit, looking very much the little boy.

There were some long chats about rugby .. but I am not sure that Theo was fully concentrating on the technical detail...

..a snuggle with Grandma Charmian was a nice end to the visit..

Photo Shoot

Baby Theo has had more than his fair share of photos taken in his first ten days of life..

However, there is always room for another photo or two and today we had a go at taking a few more formal shots for the family album.  

Since Theo was a fairly sleepy subject today we will have the perfect excuse to try again another day!

Rolling back the years..

Theo's special visitors today were Great-Grandma Vivien, Great Aunty Maggie and (Honorary) Aunty Emma.

Seeing Mum holding baby Theo reminded me of Lauren's early days ...

Another chance to take some family groups..

We could have done with a bigger sofa!!

Emma enjoyed a little cuddle with Theo under Mum Maggie's supervision.

..and again an opportunity to remember how much Maggie also helped me when Lauren was a small baby.

A couple of 'firsts'

The recommendation given to Lauren when Theo arrived was that his first bath should be at one week old - he reached that milestone last night and so today was the day..

With Lauren and James working together, It seemed to go pretty well.

The second 'first' of the day was that essential skill developed by all new parents.. namely the one-handed dinner..

Both tests passed with flying colours!

Busy Day

Theo was pleased to meet his Great-Nana Janet and Great-Grandad Arthur when they visited on Saturday..

.. and they seemed pretty smitten too.
