Weather Phenomenon

This photo was taken on January 13th - but five years ago, back in the UK

We had been using an old Pyrex dish to put water out for the birds and it froze overnight.

The particular weather - with a slight wind - caused the water to freeze in this way so that the final part of the dish to freee pushed up this perfect triangle of ice.

Supermarket Treat

One of Theo’s (and my) favourite things to do is a coffee stop on a shopping trip to Sainsbury’s!  A mini cheese and ham toastie, milk and a fruit pot is just the thing (and a steaming skinny latte for me of course!)

Perfect Peace

Is there anything more perfectly peaceful than the face of a sleeping baby? 💕

At the Car Wash

David and I took Theo through the car wash at Sainsburys one day.  He was not impressed - I guess those brushes moving along the car and the noise are all a bit scary.

Interestingly though since then, the car wash features in his play quite often.  Here he and James are making one with some magnetic wooden blocks.

Chilly Manatees

David is in Florida this week for a conference.  Whilst most of the Eastern US is shivering in colder than usual January temperatures, Florida is certainly warmer.

However, it is not as warm as usual and this photo from the web shows how Manatees, natives of Florida’s warm waters are huddling together in creeks to keep warm!

At the Farm Park
