Setting up the Holiday Shop

Over the weekend, literally hundreds of boxes of Christmas items have been brought out of storage and sorted into categories in the Bargain Loft Holiday Shop.  This morning, a group of volunteers set about pricing and displaying each item.

My day was spent pricing wreaths, garlands, candles and candleholders, toys, pictures and more..

This year the Holiday Shop has received a generous donation of a large collection of ceramic village houses which can be illuminated - together with village accessories such as trees and vintage vehicles.

There are also plenty of tree ornaments..

and snowmen..

and nativity sets ..

..also gifts, stockings, baskets, cards, gift wrap, jewellery, collectables..

In short, just about everything needed for Christmas.  They say that the first day is extremely hectic so I shall find out about that tomorrow!
