Garden below the walls

Today I visited Warwick with a friend - her first visit to the city so we began with the view of Warwick Castle from the bridge over the river.

Mill Garden is a cottage garden which is open to the public for charity, it is beautiful in every season and full of colour at this time of year.

The garden is on a small strip of land between the outer walls of the castle and the river.

There are many familiar plants ..

And a mystery one .. any thoughts?

  1. The gardens look a nice place for a walk at this time of year.

  2. Don't know that one. I am sure mum or Claire will know. I must put this on the top of my list of places to with Lauren and Theo.
