Today Lauren was meeting friends with their babies for a walk at a local country park and I was glad to tag along.
Theo is now in the push chair part of his pram..
Having somewhat grown out of the carrycot part..
It was an overcast day and that is the only excuse I can offer for these rather dull coloured photos of the lake.
It was a very pleasant circular walk, passing picnic areas, lots of blackberries which will soon be ripe, an adventure playground and a miniature railway.
Run by the Coventry Society of Model Engineers this was what appeared to be a 3 1/2 and 5 inch gauge track but no activity today.
At the end of the walk there was an opportunity for a cup of tea and a catch up/comparing of notes for all the new mums and their lovely and all very different babies. All in all a good afternoon!
Looks like a lovely place for a walk. Theo looks great in his pushchair. How exciting having a model railway so close. Lauren will be able to keep up the Great Grandpa tradition by taking Theo for regular rides.
