Great Spotted Woodpecker


This handsome bird is an occasional visitor to Mum's bird feeder but today he seemed intent on inspecting a wooden trellis below the window.

Not the clearest of pictures I am afraid..

    We have one that visits the bird table. You only have to blink and he is gone
