At Andrew and Jan's today I visited their hens - currently living quite cosily in a greenhouse due to the risk of avian flu. Initial attempts to photograph them suffered some photobombing from a particularly inquisitive bird.

Once there was some corn available it became a little easier and we were able to take these rather idyllic shots, featuring an antique cup and this morning's eggs as props!
