Walk to the Sheep Field

When Theo was very tiny, a walk in the pushchair to the 'sheep field' - a few streets away and under a railway bridge - used to be about enough time for him to fall asleep.

There are always wild flowers to see around the gate and bridge, and now berries too...

Some of these elderberries were riper than others..

As he got a little older he would be keen to see the sheep and to shout out to hear the echo of his voice under the bridge.

At the moment the field is empty but we still go to look and earlier this week, the walk worked its magic before we even got there..
