Old Town, Manassas

We first visited Manassas in November 2013, a couple of weeks after I arrived in the US.

Today I visited again to meet a friend at Okra's Cajun/Creole restaurant,  serving up flavours of Louisiana and particularly New Orleans to a good crowd of regulars and visitors.

Apart from the fact that it was sunnier and warmer today and hence more restaurants were serving meals outside, the town has changed little over the last few years.

It is a striking little town and has much more the look of a 'real' American town than the modern buildings of Reston Town Centre.
