Tadpoles and Frogs

 

This evening we walked along the creek again to try to photograph the large tadpoles that we saw last week under this bridge.

 

In this pool, David managed to photograph some large but not very colourful tadpoles..

 

 

He also photographed this large water boatman, skating on the surface of the pool..

 

A little further on and we came across a male Virginian Green Frog in the stream..

 

 

It seems as if the tadpoles that we originally thought might be those of the American Bull Frog are those of this Green Frog - we will try and keep an eye on them as they grow.
