David was the lucky recipient of a jar of jam today, made by a friend from his favourite soft fruit!!
Known as the Wild Raspberry or Wine Raspberry here, we know them as Wine Berries. Our friends found some growing wild along the side of a cycle trail and returned to pick 13 pounds of fruit!
These little berries are so beautiful and I am sure that the jam will be too. Is it too warm to buy a packet of crumpets from Trader Joe's? Or maybe I should make another attempt at scones..
