It was sunny and bright this morning and we set off quite early to walk at Great Falls with friends.
Initially we walked left along the river to Riverbend Park, enjoying the calm but high water.
Then back to Great Falls and, as always after heavy rain, the water was very frothy and lively over the rapids..
There were still some intrepid souls canoeing and even paddle boarding against the flow, in the fast moving water.
