Those of you who have already visited will probably by now be starting to predict the itinerary for Mum and Dad!!
This morning we tried to beat the heat with an early trip to Great Falls..
But it was still pretty warm and so we retreated for lunch and then a trip to the Bargain Loft.
Later a trip to the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum next to Dulles airport and a view of Reston in the distance from seven floors up in the Observation Tower and then a few of the iconic flying machines in the giant hangar..
It sounds like it is still a little hotter than you may have wished for their visit. We didn't make it to the observation tower or the falls.
